#InItToWinItWTRS Prize Money – 2026 Wasatch Trail Run Series

This contest is for Dimple Dell 4/29/26 and at select future races (not all). See announcements for future races.

Long Course Only Male and Female categories

Plus one $50 Random Hashtag Winner drawn from all runners who posted with #InItToWinItWTRS by the deadline but did not finish in the overall top 3.

Prize Pool Boost: If our Instagram announcement post reaches 500 likes by race start, we add $120 to the prize pool → +$20 to each podium place (1st, 2nd, and 3rd for both Male & Female).

To be eligible for any cash prize (podium or random), runners must:

  • Post a public Instagram Post or Story by 5:00 PM Tuesday the day before the race.

  • Mention in your post/story the specific race name and date eg (“Dimple Dell 4/29”)

  • Tag @wasatchtrailrunseries.

  • Use the exact hashtag #InItToWinItWTRS.

Only runners who meet the Instagram requirement by the deadline will be eligible for the cash prize

Proof of posting may be requested. We strongly recommend adding your Instagram handle during registration and saving a screenshot of your post. The hashtag must be spelled exactly as shown. If you have multiple IG accounts you must post to your most visible IG account.

If requested your finish time must be verified by your strava activity or gps watch etc. In other words your run must be recorded

Payouts will be sent via Venmo within 48 hours of the race.

Suggestions

📸 Wondering what to post for #InItToWinItWTRS (Just one good photo or Story is enough!)

Top recommended photos:

  • You standing at the trailhead or start line with the race banner / course map visible

  • A scenic trail shot from a recent training run on the course (especially golden hour or nice views)

  • You in your race kit / with your bib (even if it’s just laid out the night before)

  • A fun selfie with the Wasatch mountains or a recognizable local landmark in the background

  • Group shot with friends you convinced to race with you

  • Add a short caption like: “Locked in for Wednesday night at Dimple Dell! Ready to run fast for some cash 💰 #InItToWinItWTRS”

  • Stories are fine too — especially if you add a sticker or text overlay with the hashtag
