post-race picnic with live music by blue grass thunder 〰️
Are you ready for a brand new venue and race course? Picnic with Live Music? Here it is! We are so excited about racing at Deer Valley. We’ve created a course chock full of awesome single track and sweeping views of the Park City expanse dotted with cool down canyon views of the Jordanelle reservoir. Do your best to make this race as planned resort construction in summer 2026 most likely will prevent us from racing this course. Bring your picnic basket, eat and relax on the grass while listening to live music by Blue Grass Thunder. In this spirit our hats go off to those who run the race in overalls and a straw hat ie. you’ll get a lil sumpin!
Registration Table opens at 5pm. Races start at 6:30 PM .Click Here for driving directions to Deer Valley (Snow Park)
All Season Pass Holders and Returning Racers must sign this new Deer Valley waiver. If you are a new racer, DO NOT click this button as you will receive a separate different waiver link via email after you complete registration
Race Course
Short Course: about 5.5 miles and 1000 feet of elevation gain (depending on your watch/strava). Water is only at start/finish. Bring a full hydration pack. We are a cupless series.
Course Description: start by climbing the steep dirt road to thin out the pack for 0.4 miles then down you go into the forested single track. The Pipeline Trail snakes you down a small canyon. Near the bottom you’ll take a hard left down the ski run to the dirt road. A small jaunt from here you’ll be back on the single track climbing up to the Gap Trail. You’ll cross the paved road (CAUTION! Vehicles have right of away. Follow crossing guard instructions strictly or be DNF’d)….back to the fun description:) After crossing the paved road you’ll run along side the road for a couple hundred yards and then be shot back up into the single track. Time to take in some more Sweet Views. Unique views of the Jordanelle Reservoir and a nice panorama of the Park City area await! Almost to the Finish! You’ll soon see the Start/Finish area in the distant valley below. Under the St Regis funicular you go! Then it’s back down the dirt road to the Finish to be greeted by the tunes of Blue Grass Thunder playing for you. Make sure to bring your picnic basket as there is a perfect grass hillside to sit, eat, and be merry while listening to the music. An enjoyable evening with friends and family. See you soon and Thank you for your support!

After topping out, it’s all down hill to the finish. If you’re tired, be careful to skip not trip:) as the road is fast and steep in some areas.
