Racing at Solitude Wednesday June 26th.

In person registration begins at 5 P.M in Entrance #1 at the Moonbeam Lodge
Race begins at 6:30 PM. After you finish, make sure to check the raffle board to see if you won a prize. Bring a hydration pack as water will be only at Start/Finish. Thanks for playing it safe and being courteous to your fellow racers. Restrooms are located in the Snowsports Academy located on the parking lot level to the left of the stairs and clock tower.

IMPORTANT: The one lane construction stop light in the canyon will be manned virtually to facilitate faster travel times to and from the race. That being said, there will be delays so start your drive early just in case of unforeseen traffic issues in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Carpool if you can! NO DOGS IN CANYON. It is illegal even to have a dog remain in your in car in the canyon. Bow Woof!

Short Course 4.93 miles miles 859 ft Elevation Gain (click here for Garmin Connect data) This Garmin data is the same course as depicted in the map below. Note: Garmin data fluctuates ie. may be different from your device/Strava etc.

Course Description: Start on dirt road next to Moonbeam Express ski lift, take dirt road down to Eagle Express ski lift, left up steep dirt road, right onto Serenity Trail, continue straight onto and climb up and down Queen Bess Trail, right on Raptor road, at Roundhouse Lodge turn right onto Eagle Ridge Trail, pass top of Apex Express ski lift, short jog down road, right on Raptor Road, left on Kruzr Connect, left on Kruzr Trail back down to base, left on pavement, onto Down & Out Trail, up onto Serenity Trail, right down on lower Queen Bess Trail towards parking lot, right on dirt road that parallels parking lot back to Finish!

Long Course: 7.5 miles, 1250’ elevation gain. (see map below)

Course Description: Start on dirt road next to Moonbeam Express ski lift (red arrows on map below), take dirt road down to Eagle Express ski lift, left up steep dirt road, right onto Serenity Trail, continue straight onto and climb up and down Queen Bess Trail, right on Raptor road, at Roundhouse Lodge turn right onto Eagle Ridge Trail, pass top of Apex Express ski lift, short jog down road, right on Raptor Road, continue up and past bottom of Summit Express lift (steep climb), left on Kruzr Trail, onto Lookout Trail, left on pavement-gravel road, right and down Serenity Trail (see blue arrows on map below), left on Lower Queen Bess Trail, hard right on dirt road back to Finish!
