Race Course

Important! It’s getting dark much earlier. Start bringing a headlamp just in case.

Short Course: About 6 ish miles and 1500’ of elevation gain. Start and Finish at Alta Town Park. Note! This is almost the same course as last year EXCEPT we won’t be utilizing the Snake Pit Trail. From the Start you’ll run up past Albion Base onto the Albion Basin Trail as we did last month BUT a little ways up we will turn right onto the Home Run Trail to get us to Alf’s Restaurant. We will wrap around the left side of Alf’s and ascend the road/double track and then turn right onto single track that will take us up to the main Cecret Lake Trail. We’ll turn right on the Cecret Lake Trail, climb to Cecret Lake, run along the right side of the lake and take a right on the small single tracks that rolls over and spits you up onto a dirt road climb. At the top of the climb the road forks (right under the Sugar Loaf Ski Lift) We’ll bear right and down the road back to Alf’s restaurant and retrace our steps to the Start/Finish. See you this Wednesday! Bring your smiles cuz the Flowers are still in Bloom!

Long Course: 7-8ish miles and 2000’ of elevation gain. Start and Finish at Alta Town Park. Note! This is almost the same course as last year EXCEPT we won’t be utilizing the Snake Pit Trail. From the Start you’ll run up past Albion Base onto the Albion Basin Trail as we did last month BUT a little ways up we will turn right onto the Home Run Trail to get us up to Alf’s Restaurant. At the top of the climb the road forks (under the Sugar Loaf Ski Lift). We’ll take a STEEP LEFT TURN AND UP WE GO TO GERMANIA PASS! From the pass It’s all downhill. Steep Dirt Road..Yikes! Once we get to the bottom of the Wildcat Lift we take a hard right onto the single track that hovers in the trees for a bit. and then leads us onto the dirt road back to the Start/Finish. Flowers are still in bloom. Yee Haw!
